How to Enable Sleep Tracking on Apple Watch?

1. Does Apple Watch track sleep automatically?


Yes, Apple Watch can track your sleep automatically, but Sleep Tracking must be enabled first in the Health app.




2. How do I turn on Sleep Tracking?


Follow these steps on your iPhone:


1. Open the Health app

2. Tap Browse → Sleep

3. Tap Full Schedule & Options

4. Enable Sleep Schedule

5. Turn on Track Sleep with Apple Watch


Your Apple Watch will now monitor your sleep whenever you wear it overnight.




You can turn it on from the Watch app on your iPhone:


1. Open the Watch app

2. Scroll down and tap Sleep

3. Enable Track Sleep with Apple Watch


To track your sleep with an Apple Watch, make sure the following are set up:

• iOS 16+ on your iPhone and watchOS 9+ on your Apple Watch

• In the Watch app → Sleep, enable Track Sleep with Apple Watch

• Your watch must enter Sleep Mode while you’re sleeping

• The watch should be unlocked and have enough battery before bed

• Sleep Mode must stay active for at least 4 hours for sleep tracking to register
