Understanding Real-Time Stress Levels

Your real-time stress level is primarily derived from heart rate fluctuations captured by your Apple Watch.

Sudden or sustained increases in heart rate — relative to your personal resting baseline — indicate heightened sympathetic activity, a sign your body is responding to stress or exertion.

When your heart rate remains stable and close to baseline, it reflects a calm and recovered state.

This continuous analysis helps Welldo estimate your stress level in real time, showing how your body reacts from moment to moment.

Stress Levels

Welldo categorizes your stress into four levels:

🟢 Great (1%–20%) — Your system is steady and relaxed. You’re in an optimal state of balance.

🔵 Normal (21%–60%) — Mild stress detected, but your body is handling it well.

🟠 Attention (61%–80%) — Signs of strain are showing. Take a moment to pause or unwind.

🔴 Overload (81%–100%) — Your body is under heavy stress and needs time to recover.
